Across the rows of Kiwifruit vines Janice Gillgren has published a new stock image: Across the rows of Kiwifruit vines.
These are rows of kiwifruit vines growing on their supports structure. Only the closest fruit are in focus.
The kiwifruit is an increasingly important fruit in the New Zealand horticultural export industry. It&39;s botanical name is Actinidia deliciosa.
It was formerly called the Chinese Gooseberry, as it is native to China. However, it has been grown and developed in NZ for over 100 years.
This kiwifruit orchard is in the Bay of Plenty in the North Island.
