McCormick Deering Tractors on Steel Stock Photos. Photographer Ernie Hunter has just published a new page of McCormick Deering Tractors on Steel photography.International Harvester produced McCormick-Deering Tractors from 1921 to 1934. The first engines ran on Kerosene, were very hot and blew exhaust in the operators face. The Spade lug wheels provided traction and dirt in the drivers face. Fenders were invented. High horsepower on the belt made them irreplaceable for driving threshing machines. They were slow moving, but, with 20 horsepower on the draw bar, they instantly replaced the four footed horsepower and changed farming forever.Visit Ernie Hunter’s website here.
